Once upon a time ago, a girl took her friend out to cheer her up on Mother’s Day and a boy’s friend took him out to cheer him up after a series of terrible events. The girl’s friend asked the girl to “Wing Woman” the sad boy, but shortly after changed her mind to her friend. The girl then had to “Wing Woman” the sad boy, despite wanting to stay far away from anything serious.
The girl and boy ended up chatting and having a lot of fun, ending the night at local Highbury kissing on the Golden Tee Machine. The boy called the girl the next day and they went on their first date.
Since then, that girl (Tiffany) and that boy (Stephen) have been drawn to each other despite life’s twists and turns. We did try to go our separate ways, but ended up rarely not in each other’s daily lives. We’ve been through huge highs and huge lows over the last 20 years, never quite seeing the need to commit on paper.
Then, Steve’s son Calvin passed away, leaving behind our precious grandchildren and our precious almost-daughter-in-law and Tiffany realized she never wanted her family to be separated again and she wanted to be legally bound to this perfect entity of life – heck, Steve had promised to marry her before he turned 50 anyhow.
So on December 31, 2023, Steve asked her to marry him with a ring she had always wanted. And she said yes.
On June 14, 2025, in the presence of a few friends & family – Meowma & Gampa will commit our lives to each other in front of a small group of family and friends (the ceremony will be broadcasted through the 2-5pm reception and cocktail hour) in our front yards.
No, Tiffany won’t be taking his name. Yes, Steve will only be 49 and kept his promise.
We know our friends and family have unique needs, we know that June is one of the few great outdoor month’s in Wisconsin, so we’ve developed a plan where you can spend a little, or a lot of time with us on whatever fits your needs.
Please note: All of the events will have food, drink & entertainment provided.
